Understand Yourself Better with a Psychological Assessment
Meredith Psychological & Testing Services (MPTS) can perform extensive psychological assessments to help you get a better understanding of how you think and learn, and why your behave in the ways you do. Whether someone is struggling with reading, math, or other learning tasks, have difficulty with memory and focus, staring with organization and task completion, or any other difficulties they may face, our therapists use a structured process through which we can reveal why the subject is having those difficulties. Once these causes have been identified, we can help guide you to find successful strategies to cope with these difficulties.
The Four Stages of the Psychological Assessment
MPTS has structured its psychological testing process into four key stages to help the therapist get a full understanding of the patient’s difficulties.
Stage One – we begin with an intake interview that gives us a basic context through which we can interpret any test results.
Stage Two – this stage consists of the administration of various testing sessions to provide the therapist with more insight into the individual.
Stage Three – during this stage, the therapist will score and interpret the test results along with relevant research.
Stage Four – with the other three stages complete, the therapist will discuss the results with the individual, offering informed feedback and a copy of the finalized report.
