My goal is to create a supportive, empowering space where clients feel understood, respected, and capable of meaningful change. I am body-positive, sex-positive, and a proud ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe it is courageous to reach out when times feel particularly challenging; you do not have to go it alone. My experience spans a wide range of issues, including (but not limited to) supporting women, motherhood, parenting, teachers, families with children with a chronic illness, Type 1 diabetes, healing from diet culture, body image, relationship struggles, separation and divorce, substance use, and generational and religious trauma.
While I love using music as a vehicle for self-exploration and expression, I also love helping clients discover and explore their own inner symphony. My therapeutic approach is grounded in viewing clients through various lenses—family, community, culture, and society. While our identities and behaviors are often shaped by these forces, I firmly believe in each individual’s ability to learn, heal, and grow. With a focus on emotional processing and awareness, I help clients navigate their inner worlds to better understand themselves and their relationships.
I am a counseling intern currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Western Michigan University, where I am set to graduate in August 2025. As a licensed K-12 educator, I bring over two decades of unique experiences with children and young adults into my counseling work and hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Music Education from Western Michigan University.
I am currently an intern at Meredith Psychological & Testing Services, where I am under the direct supervision of Dr. Julie Meredith Davis. To schedule an appointment, please call the main office at 269-459-1818.
