I have been working in the field since 2015. I recognize that individuals are also a part of a larger context and, as a result, strive to guide clients to understand that they can have control over the way they manage and cope with stressors caused by external systems.
I earned a master’s in counseling psychology from Western Michigan University in 2015. My training and education emphasize the importance of developmental, social, and relational considerations. I have experience working with clients with ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder, LGBTQIA+, and personality struggles. These populations include teens, college students, adults, couples, and families from all socioeconomic statuses, including those experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness.
I am a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the state of Michigan, which allows me to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. As an MLP, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
