Nobody’s free until everybody’s free. – Civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer

I have been working in the field for over 10 years. As a therapist, my work has focused on meeting the needs of a wide range of populations through therapy and psychological assessment. I come from a culturally relevant, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach. This means that I am to provide a safe environment in which my clients are supported in developing skills and resources to help them reach their full potential. Although I work across ages and concerns, my specialties are working with children/youth and issues related to trauma, homelessness, gender, sexuality, and learning/development.

I earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Cleveland State University. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in the Counseling Psychology Program at Western Michigan University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship with Priority Behavioral Health Internship Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
