“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” ~ Viktor E. Frankl

I have been working in the field since 2014. I hope to create a space where clients can express themselves authentically, without fear of shame or judgment. My goal is to first build a relationship with the client, and then work on current concerns. Seeking out therapy can be a vulnerable choice, and I’ll assist as a non-biased guide while you journey through self-exploration and reflection.

I earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Western Michigan University. My education and training emphasize developmental and relational aspects. I also had training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma. I utilize thinking patterns to work on improving relational dynamics and emotional distress. My private practice includes working with adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, LGBTQ+, minorities, and men. I am comfortable working with those with anxiety, depression, anger, eating disorders, relationship concerns, and trauma.

I have a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the State of Michigan. As an MLP, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
