Kelsey Kemppainen, MA, TMLP

Therapy does not look the same for everyone, and there is no right or wrong way to do therapy. It is my job, as your therapist, to meet you where you currently are in your life and support you through your current struggles. I see YOU as the expert on yourself and your life. I also believe there are many different factors that can affect your overall wellbeing (e.g., environment, physical wellness, spiritual views). It is my goal to tailor our sessions and our work together to really fit you and your needs.

My areas of interest include children through young adults who may be experiencing concerns with autism, ADHD, anxiety, life changes, chronic pain/illness, and person identity. In addition, I really enjoy teaching and practicing grounding and relaxation/regulation skills, as well as engaging in activities during sessions.

I am currently earning a master’s degree in counseling psychology with two holistic health specialties in health & wellness coaching, and resiliency and centering skills from Western Michigan university.

I am working as an intern at Meredith Psychological and Testing Services, LLC, where I am under the direct supervision of Dr. Julie Meredith-Davis.
