In the role of a therapist, I value compassion and competence. I believe in providing clients with unconditional positive regard while also being an agent of accountability. The individuality of each client requires a treatment framework that aligns with their strengths, goals, and values. I hope to encourage the client’s personal growth and self-actualization. Therapy is hard work, but together, we can do hard things. I wish to work with children, adolescents and adults. I also have an interest in working with couples and families. I value the inclusion of all identities, including couples and individuals apart of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am currently a student pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University.
