Juliana Corvell, MA, MLP

Pronouns: she/her/hers

I believe the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is the cornerstone of effective therapy. It is my priority to create a safe, warm, and welcoming, non-judgmental space to help you make lasting changes. I will work with you to get through challenges you may be facing in your everyday life, as well as identify, understand, and change patterns of problematic thinking and behaving. I strive to help you gain self-awareness to better understand how your past experiences may be influencing current distresses. With a new understanding, you will be able to start moving forward and utilize practical strategies for improvement and growth. I will be here to help you navigate as well as support and challenge you. As such, I believe that therapy should be tailored to every individual client.

I earned my master’s in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in May of 2020. During my private practice experience, I have worked with clients navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and phobias. I work with children, adolescents, college students, and adults. I also provide intellectual and psychological testing.

I am a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the state of Michigan, which allows me to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. As an MLP, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
