Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up. ~ Brené Brown
As a therapist, I find great importance in a strong and genuine therapeutic relationship as a foundation for change. Relatedly, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients in therapy. I believe that there are common themes that individuals face in their lives that may bring discomfort but recognize that we all have our own lived experiences. At the forefront of my work, I find attention to each person’s identity and background to be essential in the therapeutic process.
I am currently enrolled in the doctoral program in counseling psychology at WMU. I am a Doctoral Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP) in the state of Michigan. As a DTLLP, I receive ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
