I like to imagine that therapy is for everyone. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, recognizing that you’re the expert of you. I enjoy using the therapeutic space to explore what you know, feel, and believe. I strive to make therapy, no matter how difficult, a space that leads to liberation, acceptance, and joy.
My academic journey has focused on overall well-being, culturally appropriate responsiveness, serious mental illness (SMI), and recovery. I have experience in the following areas: navigating early adulthood, alcohol and substance use, crisis intervention, navigating higher education, stress management, Strong Black Women Scheme, and group work.
I obtained my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2019. I am a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at Wayne State University and hold a Doctoral Level Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (DTLLP) in Michigan.
I am an Intern at Meredith Psychological & Testing Services, where I am under the direct supervision of Dr. Darrielle Allen and Dr. Martha Golubski. To schedule an appointment, please call the main office at 269-459-1818.
