Michael started working this year. In sessions, Michael is determined to welcome everyone and create a safe space that allows the therapeutic relationship to flourish. Michael has a focus of maintaining a positive outlook and mindset, combined with active listening, and providing insight from a neutral perspective in order to best assist clients. Michael believes that everyone has a story worth hearing as everyone is going through something.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Michigan State University in 2020. It was with this program that a passion for psychology, emotional matters, and the process of everyday thinking was found. He was taught the importance of mental health and giving back to the community from a young age. He has experience working in crisis residential homes with adults, college students, and adolescents, as well as helping individuals navigate concerns with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma.
Michael is an intern while pursuing a master’s degree from Western Michigan University and on track to graduate in August 2023.
