Martha Golubski, MA, TLLP

Martha began working with clients in 2011, and her passion for psychology has grown along with her experience. Martha creates a safe environment wherein she and her clients can build a strong working alliance. Within this relationship, Martha collaborates with clients to help them work through the difficulties they face in their everyday lives, as well as identify, understand, and change patterns of problematic thinking and behavior. Martha understands that who we are and how we approach issues (both rewarding and challenging) is informed by our unique lived experiences. Martha draws upon her love of nature, artistic expression, and interest in the mind-body connection to offer creative and flexible interventions in therapy.

Martha earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Cleveland State University and is currently enrolled in the doctoral Counseling Psychology program at Western Michigan University. Martha has experience working with clients who have a range of mental health concerns. Her specialty areas include learning difficulties (e.g., ADHD), eating disorders, body image, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. Martha has worked with diverse populations, yet has a special interested in treating children, adolescents, and young adults.
