Martha has been working in the field for over 10 years and is currently a doctoral candidate in the Counseling Psychology Program at Western Michigan University. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from Cleveland State University and recently completed her pre-doctoral internship with Priority Behavioral Health Internship Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
As a therapist, her work has focused on meeting the needs of a wide range of populations through therapy and psychological assessment. Martha comes from a culturally relevant, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach. This means she aims to provide a safe environment in which people are supported in developing skills and resources to help them reach their full potential. Although she works across ages and concerns, her specialties are working with children/youth and issues related to trauma, learning/development, and homelessness.
Martha is a Doctoral Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (DTLLP) in the state of Michigan. As such, she receives ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To learn more about Martha, please see her PsychologyToday page.
