she/her/hers
Lindsey earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology at Western Michigan University. She is currently enrolled in the doctoral program in counseling psychology at WMU. She has had experience working with adults with anxiety and depression and has experience working with children in a school setting. She also has a background in psychological assessment.
Lindsey strives to provide multiculturally competent care by recognizing systemic inequalities that exist and working to dismantle those in both her personal and professional life. She believes that the first step in successful psychological intervention is developing a strong rapport and strives to create a safe environment for each client. She believes that we all have thoughts and beliefs that affect our current behavior that often stems from our past. An important part of addressing current concerns is processing past experiences and recognizing how automatic thoughts are affecting behavior.
Lindsey is a Doctoral Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP) in the state of Michigan. As a TLLP, Lindsey receives ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To schedule an appointment with Lindsey, please call the main office at 269-459-1818.
