Juliana Corvell, MA, TLLP

I believe the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is the cornerstone of effective therapy. It is my priority to create a safe, warm and welcoming, non-judgmental space to help you make lasting changes. I will work with you to get through challenges you may be facing in your everyday life, as well as identify, understand, and change patterns of problematic thinking and behaving. It is important that I help you gain self-awareness to better understand how past experiences may be influencing current distresses. With new understanding, you will be able to start moving forward and utilize practical strategies for improvement and growth. I will be here to help you navigate as well as support and challenge you. I utilize psychodynamic, CBT, relational, and humanistic approaches to therapy. However, I believe that therapy should be tailored to every individual client.

I earned my master’s in clinical psychology from University of Detroit Mercy in May of 2020. During my year of practicum experience, I gained experience working with clients who had ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, phobias, trauma, and more. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I also provide intellectual and psychological testing.

As a temporary limited licensed psychologist (TLLP), I am under the direct supervision of Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP, a fully licensed psychologist.
