Josiah Goble, Intern


Josiah enjoys building strong relationships with everyone he meets. Josiah strives to create a very safe and nonjudgmental environment for every client he sees. Josiah’s approach to therapy involves principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a New-Hope Approach that works to keep every client hopeful that change can happen, no matter how difficult the situation is. Josiah is passionate about helping families, marriages, individuals, and adolescents with their everyday struggles. Josiah’s view on therapy is very interactive. Josiah believes that effective therapists must have the ability to provide their clients with the empathy they need to feel heard, valued, and comforted. Josiah also has experience working with children and adolescents on the Autism Spectrum in a clinical setting.

Josiah is interning with Meredith Psychological & Testing Services as he completes his master’s degree in Pastoral Marriage and Family Therapy at Liberty University. Josiah earned his Bachelor’s in Counseling from Liberty University.
