he/him/his
Jason seeks to create a safe environment for each client. He is aware that therapy is a relationship and strives to build trust with each person. Jason aims to help each client identify how past experiences can influence present thinking and how thoughts can affect present actions.
Jason has been working in the field since 2017 when he earned his Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. Prior to that, Jason worked at an inpatient hospital as a mental health worker; he began this focus in 2008. Jason has also completed additional training in dialectical behavior therapy. His education and training enable him to help clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Jason is also interested in the application of psychological testing and how it can aid clients. Jason enjoys working with teenagers and adults facing a wide variety of mental health issues, particularly mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma.
Jason is licensed as a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the state of Michigan. As an MLP, Jason receives ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To schedule an appointment with Jason, please call 269-459-1818.
