she/her/hers
Jamie has been working in an inpatient and outpatient setting helping individuals work through their challenges for the past 10 years. She hopes to nurture a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment for clients to work through their challenges by establishing a strong and collaborative working relationship. Jamie recognizes that many present actions are driven by past experiences. She works hard to help clients gain self-awareness and establish self-direction.
Jamie earned her Master’s degree from Western Michigan University. Her education and training emphasize developmental, social, and relational aspects. Jamie has experience working with individuals facing anxiety and depression, trauma, grief/loss, suicidality, personality disorders, interpersonal relationship difficulties, and individuals with active addiction and recovery. The therapy process includes validation of self through identification of strength-based skills and tools to regain a sense of control and resolution from past experiences and challenges. Jamie’s private practice includes working with children, adolescents, adults, LGBTQ+, and minorities.
Jamie is a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the state of Michigan. Jamie is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) in the state of Michigan with extensive experience working with individuals in active addiction and recovery. As a MLP, Jamie receives ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To schedule an appointment with Jamie, please call the main office at 269-459-1818.
