HanaLi Gilbert seeks to provide a safe, affirming space where individuals can explore emotional wounds, ongoing stressors, or conflictual relationships that have given rise to difficulties in their life. HanaLi values collaborating with clients to aid them in developing insight on relational and behavioral patterns that may not be serving them well. HanaLi will work together with clients to help them decide how they would like to create actionable change while increasing their comfort being with themselves and relating to others. HanaLi is guided by interpersonal process and cognitive behavioral approaches. HanaLi has experience working with adolescents and adults to address anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, stress management, and life transitions.

HanaLi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University in 2020. She is currently enrolled in Western Michigan University’s Counseling Psychology doctoral program. As a therapist trainee at the practice holding a Doctoral Temporary Limited License (DTLLP) in the state of Michigan, she receives ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Dr. Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP.
