Brandon Tross, Ed.S., TLLP

For the last five years, Brandon has worked in public school systems and private practice settings attending to the intrapsychic needs of children, adolescents, adults, and families.  He is intentional about creating a welcoming environment and developing a strong therapeutic alliance with his patients in order to reduce suffering, facilitate healing, and ultimately engender flourishing. Brandon acknowledges that we are the sum of our experiences and works with his patients to develop self-awareness and gain insight into how past experiences are affecting the present.

Brandon earned his Educational Specialist degree from Andrews University and is currently enrolled in the doctoral Counseling Psychology program at Western Michigan University. His education and training emphasize the importance of working with patients with a holistic approach. Brandon employs an integrative framework to alleviate symptoms, identify, recognize, and challenge problematic thinking patterns, gain awareness of relational patterns, and develop strategies to cope with life’s daily stressors. His specialty areas include anxiety, depression, familial issues relationship difficulties, loss and grief, and race-based stress. Brandon has worked with diverse populations across the lifespan addressing cultural and racial issues, and sexual and gender identity.
