Ayla Ludwig, MA, LLPC

Ayla began her journey as a counselor in 2016. With a humanistic view of therapy, Ayla strives to connect people with their inner wisdom and cultivate a relationship with innate qualities such as stillness, self-care, creativity, joy, gratitude, and compassion. She recognizes that many issues are the result of unconscious patterns, and so she focuses on growing keen self-awareness in those she works with. In this way, new, healthier choices can be made as a result of fresh perspective.

Ayla graduated with her master’s in counselor education in 2019 from Western Michigan University. During this time, she also completed a graduate certificate in holistic health and wellness which helped inform her holistic view of people and the therapeutic process. During her master’s studies, she specialized in college counseling and worked with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, adjustment, transition, relationships, and stress management. Her private practice includes young adults, racial/ethnic minorities, and immigrant populations. She also has training in mindfulness, meditation, trauma, career counseling, and romantic partnership issues. Currently, Ayla is pursuing a PhD in counselor education at Western Michigan University.

Ayla is a Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC) in the State of Michigan. As an LLPC, Ayla receives ongoing supervision from a fully licensed counselor, Mark St. Martin, Ph.D., LP, LPC.
