Amanda Cole, MA, MLP

she/her/hers

Finding a safe space to express feelings and emotions without judgment is Amanda’s top priority within therapy. Amanda believes that negative thinking patterns play a big role in the client’s present struggles, and recognizing negative thinking patterns, creating insight, and building a strong therapeutic relationship with the client is key to healing.

Amanda received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ferris State University in 2017. After graduating, she pursued a job as a psychometrist, giving psychological tests to a variety of age groups. In 2019, Amanda went back to school at Western Michigan University to obtain her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. During schooling, she worked as an applied behavior analysis technician working with kids with an autism spectrum disorder. Amanda enjoys working with teens, young adults, and college students facing a wide variety of mental health issues.

Amanda is a Master’s Limited Psychologist (MLP) in the State of Michigan. As such, Amanda receives ongoing supervision from a fully licensed psychologist, Julie Meredith Davis, Ph.D., LP. To schedule an appointment with Amanda, please call the main office at 269-459-1818.
